Sinéad Keaskin (MA Professional Practice: Dance Technique Pedagogy (MAPP), BS (Hons), L.I.S.T.D, MB, DDE IB, TB, NB) is a fully qualified and registered dance teacher of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, holding Professional teaching qualifications in Imperial Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre, Tap and National Dance. She holds further qualifications with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (L.A.M.D.A), an Honours Degree in Psychology, plus a Masters Degree in Dance Technique Pedagogy (Honours) with Middlesex University, London.
Sinéad started her professional career in Disneyland, Paris and has performed both at home in Ireland and internationally since then. As well as working as a professional dancer and soloist, Sinéad has choreographed for many schools, companies and societies. Many of her past students have gone on to train, teach and dance professionally in Ireland, England, Scotland, The Netherlands, Canada and Spain.
Sinéad believes that Bray has an abundance of talent and ability, but that it is essential that children and students are taught properly by passionate and caring teachers for this talent to be truly realised. She believes in dance being fun and energetic for children and that this can be achieved whilst teaching great technique that will also open doors for future careers in dance.
