Roisin Bullock holds a BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre. She is a student of Bray School of Dance, although when she started we were the Annette Hynes School of Ballet and Modern Theatre Dance. Upon leaving us, she went to train at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, full-time for 3 years attaining both her Degree in MT and a foundation certificate as well as her Intermediate Tap (ISTD).Her training in Barcelona gave her huge exposure to the professional world of Dance and Theatre and we are so thrilled to have her back with us to share her wealth of experience! Roisin feels she has been so lucky in her career to date as she has been given the opportunity to perform such characters as: Little Red Riding Hood in ‘Into the Woods’, Pugsley Addams in the ‘Addams Family’ and Margot in ‘Legally Blonde’.She has also performed as the featured soloist in the Tap dance number ‘I’ve Got Rythym’. Róisín discovered a love for acting, comedy in particular whilst in IAB. As an actor she has performed in many plays ranging from classical Shakespeare to more contemporary plays. Her favourite roles being ‘Lady MacBeth’ in ‘Shakepeares MacBeth’ and ‘Harper Pitt’ in ‘Angels in America’. Academically, she completed her final dissertation project on exploring the historical and cultural links of Tap dancing and Irish dancing. She is currently continuing her training with Bray School of Dance and Dance College Whistable to complete her DDE’s in Modern Theatre, Tap and Classical Ballet. It is Róisín’s love of Musical Theatre that inspired us to start our Musical Theatre Classes this year and because of her professional knowledge and experience, they have been a huge success!
