Róisín discovered a love for acting, comedy in particular whilst in IAB. As an actor she has performed in many plays ranging from classical Shakespeare to more contemporary plays. Her favourite roles being ‘Lady MacBeth’ in ‘Shakepeares MacBeth’ and ‘Harper Pitt’ in ‘Angels in America’. Academically, she completed her final dissertation project on exploring the historical and cultural links of Tap dancing and Irish dancing. She is currently continuing her training with Bray School of Dance and Dance College Whistable to complete her DDE’s in Modern Theatre, Tap and Classical Ballet. It is Róisín’s love of Musical Theatre that inspired us to start our Musical Theatre Classes this year and because of her professional knowledge and experience, they have been a huge success!
