Rebecca Barnes

Rebecca Barnes holds qualifications with the ISTD for Modern Theatre Dance (DDI) and Classical Ballet as well as being a qualified instructor in Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) and Diverse Dance Mix (DDMIX). Academically, she holds a BA (Hons) Degree in History and Classics and is currently studying her Masters in Common Law at University College Dublin. Rebecca started her training with the Annette Hynes School Of Ballet and Modern Theatre Dance and then Bray School of Dance.On finishing school, she attended Dance College Whitstable’s full-time Teacher Training and Professional Dance Course. Rebecca is an Advanced dancer in Classical Ballet and Modern Theatre Dance and is currently working on her Intermediate Tap Dance qualification also. Rebecca is an impeccable dancer and enthusiastic teacher who always brings something different and unique to her classes. She is constantly striving for the best ways in which to make dance fun and interesting for the students whilst still ensuring their clear understanding of technique. Having trained with Kathryn Wiggans and Ms Elizabeth Harrison whilst in England, her knowledge of both the Modern Theatre and Classical Ballet genres is 2nd to none.
